A oase has been instituted in the Equity Court to test tbe validity of the payment of members of the Legislative Assembly. Plaintiff contends that tho Act authorising payment only applied to the Parliament passing it, and not to the present one, and he seeks an injunction to prevent the Audi-tor-General paying the amounts.
