Pahiattja, This Dat. A heavy fall of snow took place all over the district on Saturday and yesterday, the ground being covered. Several farmers have lost largo numbers of sheep and lambs through the cold weather. Gmsttown North, This Dat. > Severe hailstorms—the first this winter — occurred on Saturday and yesterday. On Saturday night the hailstones, were banked up several inohes high. It is dearer today. Mastbrton, Thih Dat. Tho weather for the past two days has been excessively cold. On Saturday night and Sunday heavy falls of snow occurred. The mortality amongst young lambs is reported to be very great.
