OUR WOODVILLE LETTER. (Our Own Correspondent.) Woodville, 29th August.

The farmers all round the district; are now raking their minds what to do. We have a firat-rato ohcoae factory, giving 3d per gallon for milk, and turning oat as fine a cheese as anyone conld wish to eat. Now the question is, will they give up the oheese factory and go in for a butter one ?— I don't mean better one. The new factory is offering 3d per gallon and the skim milk given back. Now, this is a groat thing for tho farmers, because they can rear their own pigs and calves. Nearly 400 cows have bocn guaranteed. This will help to keep tho price of cows up, bat in the long run the farmors will wish thoy had started another choose factory. Tho reduction in faro insurance for the town of Woodvillo is about 10s in the hun. dred. We have a Borough Council oleotion coraintr off next week to fill np three vaoancios. No loss than seven new candidates have come forward. The stock Boles for August have been very quiot. Money is still very scarce ; likewise feed.
