[By Telegraph.] (Our Own Correspondent.) Carterton, This Day.
A special meeting of electors held to discuss the Licensing Act approved the constitution of the Committees as proposed ; the proposal that the local option vote cover all club charters; the abolition of licenses in native districts ; the stopping of the sale of intoxicating liquors on election days and shop hti.lf-holicia.ys; all license fees to be paid into, and tho cost of administering the Act out of, the Consolidated Revenue; that only one issue, " license or no license ?" be submitted to the electors; that failing a three-fifths majority for Prohibition, an absolute majority carry reduction ; that all endorsements on a license remain against the house.
