» A LARGE MAJORITY PREPARED TO GIVE WAY. LONITKD PBKBB ASSOCIATION. I London, 31st August. Forty - six thousand Scotch miners have ballotted in connection with the strike, and a majority of 5000 are in favour of settle* ment by agreeing to a deduction of 6d per day. __^^__^^__
