MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. Wellington.

The time for receiving nominations in connection with the municipal elections expired at noon to-day. The following are the additions to the list which we published yesterday.: — Lambton Ward— Maurice Pollock Came ron, nominated by Arthur Scqollar and John A. Plimmer. The contest will therefore be between Mr. Cameron and the retiring Councillor, Mr. C. JE. Willeeton. To Aro Ward— Alexander Wilson, nominated by John Halley and Alfred Seamer ; William Henry Peter Barber (the retiring Councillor), nominated by Edward Seager and Chaa. E. Luxford. The other candidates are Messrs. W. M'Oill and H. Fielder. Thorndon — Thomas Orr, nominated by Thomas John Leighton and E. W. Pieroy. Messrs. E. Levoi (the retiring Councillor), J. Myers, F. H. Pickering-, and W. Lingird are the other candidates. Cook— The election will be confined to Messrs. P. H. Fraser (the retiring Councillor) and W. Higginbottom. The elections take place on Thursday, 13tL proi.
