Co.'s ss Port Melbourne arrived at 5.15 pm yesterday. Her dates are as follows : — Left London 12th May, Cardiff 23rd, Port Said 4th June, Suez sth, Colombo 19th, Calcutta 25th July,Singapore 3rd August, Townsville 16th, aiTiring at Auckland on 24th ; left at 8.20 pm on 27th, and arrived as above. She leaves for Lyttelton on Saturday The ss Waihora left Sydney at 3.5 pm on the 25th inst, and arrived here at 3 this morning. Her cargo for all ports consisted of 557 tons general cargo and 6+f tons cool, of which 258 tons of general cargo are for Wellington The Waihi arrived from Blenheim a*. 9.5 last night The Chas Edward from Nelson, and Stormbird from Wangonui, arrived at 4.45 and 8.35 this morning The Waihora is to be laid up at Port Chalmers on her return to that port. Advantage will probably be taken to give tho vessel an overhaul. Tho Manapouri will bo placed in commission again to take up the Waihora's running The barque Woodhall, of Lirerpool, was seen off the Heads yesterday. She came through the Straits, and went up the East Coast. The Woodhall is bound from Newcastle to Valparaiso The Kahu makes a trip from Napier to Lyttelton, returning to Wellington from, the latter port about Tuesday night The Huddart-Parker liner Tasmania, left Sydney at 6 last evening for Wellington via Auckland and Napier, with a full passenger-list, 28 horses, and a large general cargo, and is due here next Thursday morning The barque Dacca, for Newcastle, was towed out by the Duco this morning, but owing to the strong southerly wind springing up, anchored in Worser Bay, The schooner Clyde, for Foxton, is also there The schooner Frank Guy left Newcastlo on Saturday last, with a cargo of 261 tons of coal for Thompson Bros. \ Co.
