The Ruahme arrived at Plymouth yesterday with her cargo of frozen meat in good condition. The Waimea is loading for Port Chalmers and Bluff. 25th August. The Tongariro left Plymouth to-day for Wellington and Lyttelton, with 118 passengers and 2000 tons of cargo. (Received August 28, 11 a.m.) London, 27th August. Silver is quoted at 2s G^d. The prospects of the hop crop are better than for several years past. (Reoeived August 28, 2.15 p.m.) Calcutta, 27th August. The Indian wheat crop shows a deorease of 826,000 tons compared with last year.
