The coal export for the week ending today was 4705 tons by the Weatport Coal Co.. and 676 tons by the Mokihinui Co., a total of 5381 tons. •= Grbymouth, 26th August. The coal export for the week was 4094 tons. The Reefton gold returns for the week were :— Alpine, 2190z amalgam from 190 tons (clean np) ; Drake, 940z amalgam from 90 tons (clean up); Wealth of Nations, 51oz amalgam from 60 tons (clean up) ; Hercules, 30oz amalgam from 30 tons (olean np).
