The ketch Gratitude, which went to the Campboll Island with coal and stores for the disabled Norwegian whaler Antarctic, has raturuod. Caotain Brown reached the Island on the 12th, and found that the Antarctic had disappeared, and so had Mr. Hatch's men who hod been left to watohthe -whaler. They left a note Btatintr that they had left on the previous day for the Auokland Islands Brown went on to the Anoklands, and found the whaler there. After taking in the coals, anchors, and provisions, the Antarctic Btarted on the 23rd for a whaling cruise round the Snares, Solanders, and Stewart's Island. Her mainmast, although fished, is of vfiry little use, and it ia the Captain's intention aftor crni&ing about the Islands named to go to tho Kaipara and procure a new spar. He says that lie secured one whale during the Gratitude's absence from the Campbell's, and this is all he has done.
