THE NEWTOWN SCHOOL COMMITTEE AND " AS YOU LIKE IT " TO THE EDITOR.
Sir — The communication from thiß committee to the Education Board js not to be taken as an expression of their individual opinions on this play, but rather as giving oneot to the wishes of several of the parents, i in the district. The point of tho whole ' matter lies here : — Why have not the parents 1 backed up their own oause and the aotion I taken by thoir committee ? It is a curious ! fact that, in the face of a large amount of adverse criticism, not a singlo letter has appeared in the public press to justify their action. lam, &0., Hamlet.
