Nominations for tile United Hunt Clnb's Meeting eloiio with tho Secretary (Mr. H. Ms Lybn) to-night at tho Royal Oak Hotel. The first horses to put in an appearance at the Hutt in view of the approaching meeting next month are Mr. Goisking's pair, Banner and Harkaway, whioh arrived on Saturday from Nelsom t?rjhnny Faa iB oxpected to-uiorrovr. Returned visitors to tho Nelson races speak very highly of Mr. J. E. Henry's handicapping, some of tho best finishes on record boing witnessed during the two days' racing. At the conclusion of tho meeting, according to tho local papers, the handioapper was aooorded threo ringiog cheers for his suacess. From aU accounts thero was a lot of "oronk " running, one jockoy especially distinguiehinß- himself by the barefaced manner in which ho " pulled " his mount in one of the events.
