They settled in London, nnd during the time of the Commonwealth tho Princess was reduced to such straits than she acted as washerwoman in the house of Lord Clarendon. There is no doubt thaf she was put to groat struita for many years. She was the mother uf tho Princess Sophia, tind grandmother of King George 1 . thy first of our Hanoverian sovereigns.
