» EIGHT PERSONS DROWNED. 'U.VITKI- VBKHR ABBOCXA.TION.I (Received April 13, noon.) Brisbane, This Dat. The floods in the North are receding. A man named Buchanan, with hia wife and family of five ohildren, and also a man named Cummins, were drowned at Ingham through the capsizing of a rescue punt.
