The following is the personnel of the new Ministry ■. — fremier (without any npeoial portfolio), Sir li. O. N. Uraddon ; Colonial Treasurer, Mr. P. <". Fysh ; Attorney-Gene-ral, Mr. A. I Clark ; Minister of Lands and Works, Mr. A. T. Pillinger ; Minister without portfolio, Mr. Lieby. Mr. Fysh, who represents Buckingham in the legislative Council, oomeß down to the Legislative Absemlily, changing seats with Mr. John Hamilton member for Glenorchy. The Ministry is regarded as the strongest combination that has hold offico in Tasmania for years: Sir Edward Braddon's surrender of a, portfolio greatly strengthens his position. The proposals of tho new Government will probably includo an increase of the present Land Tax from id to }d, tho imposition of an Income Tax; and a scheme of retrenchment to obviate increase in tho Customs duties.
