The following mining returns are to hand : —Sew Hoy Big Beach dredges, 128oz 9dwt ; 18gr gold ; Jutland Flat, 20oz ldwt (work has been Btopped, the farmers declining to await the result of a further appeal to the Minister to declare the Waipori a sludge-channel) ; Miller's Flat dredge, 16oz ; Sandhills dredge, 16oz 14dwt lOgr; Upper Waipori Company, 340z.
