COMMENT IN AUSTRALIA.
I ONITBJ7 PRESS ASSOCIATION.! (Received November 30, 10.40 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. The Sydney Morning Herald, disensaing the New Zealand election, doubtn if the Liberal Party is compact, and states that the existence of a small and apparently helpless Opposition adds to the chances of secession. The situation, it considers, is 3nch as hardly angurs favourably for tho successful continuance of the Seddon Administration. The Herald says the salient feature of the elections is the distinctness of the verdict of tho conntry on tho parties as they existed in the late Parliament.
