ARRANGEMENTS FOR CONTINENTAL TRADE. 'UNITID PRISS ASSOCIATION. I (.Received November IS, 10.10 a.m.) London, 14th November. In the coarse of an interview to-day, Mr. Hamo Black, representative of tho Queensland Government, who lias just returned from the Continent, stated that several Germans propose to form a company in Hamburg, with brandies in Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, and olsowhero, to distribute Australian meat, on condition that the "meat is shipped direot from tho oolonies to Hamburg, as they allege that transhipment in London reduces the profit to nil. Mr. Black added that it is hoped to induoe the Nord-Dentscher line to fit one or two of its vessels with freezing apparatus, and for them to o&ll at Brisbane and Townsville quarterly until the trade expands. Hamburg and Berlin, he says, have already ample cool storage.
