THE MYRA KEMBLE SEASON.
" A WHITE LIE." This evening the long - looked - for visit from the accomplished aotress Miss Myra Kernble commences at the Opera House. No better comody organisation than this one has visited Wellington for very many years. The initial production, Sydney Grundy's comedy " A White Lie," wherever !* h/"* been producod, has been voted tho best effort of its prolific author. To-night's performance will introduce to the Wellington public Mr. Edward Sass, whose reputation as an actor in tho very foremost rank has long sinoe reached here. Of Miss Kemblo herself it is unnecessary to speak, as the recollections of her former visit must be still fresh in the minds of playgoers, and the excellence of her* acting is not soon likely to be forgotten. With an oxcollont repertoire, a_ well-balanced company, and lavish mounting, thoro is no reason why tho coming Kemblo season should not be as successful as its undoubted merits deserve.
