It ws* Unfair to ono ot the most rising and prosperous districts in tho colony that trfaius should only run to and from it twice or thrice a wook. Tho arrangement by which on two days a wcok thorp was a roduction in tho number oC trains betwoon Palmeraton and Wanganui, was also a most inconvoniont ono, and wo aro glad to notico it has boon altered. Some alterations in a similar diroction are needed °" tho Palmorston-Napior line, in ordor that tho railway may supply the requirements of tho public, and especially of country settlors as fully as possible
