Qladsfconp with referenco to the Western Australia Enabling Bill, Mr. Qladsfono expressed himself warmly interested in the Babject, but admitted that the question of reserving torritory prcaontod some difllculty. Ho was surprised at the hostility which was shown to admitting Chini'so into tbo colony. At prosont he had so many en^agnments on hand that he found it impossible ip actively advocato the Bill, but ho promised that he would dso all his influence in prevonting the measure from being obstructed. •-»--—■ ■ -
