Madame Melba, the Australian cantatrice, has been offered a season's engagement in Pariß at .£240 per annum. It i 3 reported that Mr. Pritohard Morgan. M.P. for Merthyr-Tydvil, has been offered the position of Solicitor-General to Queensland. Mr. J. L. Toole, the well-known comedian, has made up Mb mind to visit the oolonies. He will Bail in February, and open at Easter, nnder engagement to Williamson, Garner, and Musgrove.
