Suicide in Dunedin.

On Satnrday afternoon, William McLauenlan, a resident at St. John's Wood, Northeaßt Valley-, committed suieida by hanging himself while his wife 'was absent. Ho appears to have thrown a rope over the parlour door, andj making a noose on the other side, hinged himself. Ho was in very well-to-do circumstances, owning, a good deal of property at Port Chalmers, but he had suffered some losses, and these have worried him, greatly., He leaves a wife, and three! ohildren.
