The weekly return of the Bank of England shows the total reserves in notes, and bullion to be .£13,200,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 39 per cent. The total of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom i« 2,300,000 quarters, and for the Continent; 350,000 quarters. An off coast oargo of wheat has been sold at 33* I{A. Consols are at 10 If. Martell's and Hennessy's brandy are quoted at 17s. Arrived— Cormorant, barque, from Lyttelton (6th January); Rangitikel, ship, from Auckland (15th December) ; Herechel, ship, from Napier (17th December). 1 At the wool sales good merinoes are hardening in price ; faulty sorts and scoured are id lower. There is good demand f or crossbreds. Brisbane, 13th April. Sailed— Schooner Magellan Cloud, for New Zealand. (Received April 14, 12.45 p.m.) London, 13th April. Tallow has advanced 6d.
