Sheridan and Charles Mandl are especially to be complimented upon the reoitations they gave during the entertainment. The f ormor young gentleman, apart from his elooutionary powers, possesses considerable histrionio abilities, whilo the recitation of "The Bells" by Master Mandl was a highly commendable rendering of a most diffionlt and, for even adult amateurs, a somewhat ambitious pieoe. No one who had been present at tho oonoert could for a moment doubt that musio and her Biator aong had already mado St. Patrick's College thoir home. Ho did not think that greater mußioal ability could be found in any older or longor standing Colleges, and he did not know any College which gavo a hotter or more cheering promiao than their own dear Colloge. He would not detain thorn long, bnt this he desired to say that if he had the ear of older Colleges he would tell them they must step out if they wished to keep pace with St. Patrick's College. He did not think he oould better show his appreciation of the kindness of the Btudents than by asking their bishop and superior to give them a two days' vaoation, and he was happy to be ablo to inform them that they would have a holiday on the following day and on Wednesday next. Hearty ringing oheers were then given for the Cardinal, the Bishop, and the Reotor, and the proceedings terminated.
