Davis* oaso was conoluded at 8.30 p.m., when the prisoner was found guilty of administering a drug with intent to commit felony. He oalled Bereral wituessos for tho defence, but uttoriy failed to disprove tho ohargoa. He was sentenced to ten yesra' penal servitude in this oaso, tmii five years for forßory, 15 years in all. AVhen aentenoed, he broke down entirely, and cried bittorly. There was a disposition to hiss him whenne was removed from the dook. The ohargea of false p'retonoos against him have been withdrawn. ___»
