The second day of the Waterloo meeting came off in very unpropitious weather, though muoh less rain fell than on Wednesday. The following are the results -.— Waterloo Cap— Third round: Bohemian Girl beat Eockwood, Bingwood beat Bordeaux, Waitangi beat Hercules, Starlight beat Bed of Stone, Adamant beat Prince Charlotte, Salamander ran a bye. Fourth round : Bingwood beat Bohemian Girl, Waitangi beat Starlight, Salamander beat Adamant, Beresford ran a bye. Waterloo Purse— First round : — Aravra beat Napoleon, Isaac beat Madiera, Wandering Friar beat Moonbeam, Headingly beat Stoneleigh, Erica beat Obataole, Bolero beat Piako, Parnell beat Honeydew, Star and Garter beat M. OB., Cliquot beat Soipio, Le Loop beat Street Arab, Dencalion beat
Maraschino, Music beat Manuka; Bagamuffin ran a bye. Second round :— lsaac beat Arawa, Wandering Friar beat Headingly, Erica beat Bolero, Star and Garter beat Parnell, Le Lonp beat Cliquot, Deucalion beat Ragamnfiin ; Musk ran a bye. Waterloo Plate—First round:— Figaro beat Braw Lass, Cardinal beat Scotland Yet, Bergamot beat Hilda, Abercorn beat Hook 11., Market-day beat Bannagher, Irish Girl beat Moonlight ; Success ran a bye. The Bangitikei Advocato of the 7th says a match has been arranged between Mr. Gray's Fern Flats and Mr. Cox's Germaine, two miles on the fiat, 12st up, for .£3O a-Bide ; the match to come off on the Bulls racecourse, at 2 p.m. on the 25th instant ; half forfeit should either fail to turn up.
