The local manager of the National Mortgage and Agenoy Company (Limited) of Wow Zealand reports on the looal grain market as follows -.—Shipping wheat has a slightly improved tendenoy at 3s 9d to 3s lOd, thongh prices are quoted at twopence below last week's report. Matting barloy is very depressed at 3s Cd to 4s 3d. Now Zoaland oats— Feeding descriptions are difficult to sell oven at slightly reduced prioes ; quotations are one ponny lower th»n last, 2a 8d to 3s ; milling sorta are 3s to 3s Id, a fall of one penny since last report ; tho market ie fiat, and prices are drooping : New Zealand oats, . under bond, 2s to 2* 3d. Ryegrasß need is quieter but steady at 3« 9d to 4s 9d, an advance of threepenoe upon last quotation ; oooksfoot is dull of sale at 4i to A{&. The New Zooland Loan and Mercantile Agenoy Company, Limited, have reooived the following telegrams from their London offioe, dated 11th instant :— Wool— The list for the ooming series of sales has closed. Wheat- The market is firm. The yield of the orop in the Kasteru ' States of America is estimated to be 30 pet* oent. below the average. Winter orop— Adelaide and Ttuoan are eaoh worth 38* per 4961b5 ; New Zealand ditto, 355 ; Adelaide, f.a.q., is worth o.i.f. to arrive 37s per 4801b». Disoount— The Bank of England rato is 3 per cont.
