A Survey Party Struck by Lightning.
MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. j [Bt Tblbgkaph.] [UNJTID PBESB ASBOPIATJQN.I Auckland, This Day. In a thunder equall, which passed over Wangarei Heads on Wednesday, Mr. Hannah, a surveyor, and two men at the trig, station on Bream Head were struck by lightning, which went through their coat sleeves and down the leg of one of the men, who was badly burnt. Mr. Hannah suffered also. All lay insensible for some time, bnt have recovered. That they have escaped with their live! they regard aa wonderful.
