Wibd — Between north-east and north-west at nil places north of Kmkoura, and between northeast and south-east at all other places. Babometbr— Fall at all stations. Sea— Heavy on eastern coast, and on western coast at places north of Greymouth. Warnings for easterly gales hold good at all fltfttiona. SYNOPSIS Or LAST 24 HOURS Easterly winds have continued generally and increased in strength, and the barometer has risen at all places north of Napier, but thence southward it has fallen steadily at nearly all stations.
