COMMERCIAL. WELLINGTON WOOL SALES.

The usual fortnightly sale, unaer tne auspices of N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, was held by Mr. Lang yesterday. About 120 bales wool, and a quantity of hides and tallow, were submitted, and every lot quitted at the following prices :— Wool.— lS in diamond, 1 bale Lincoln, cotted, 6id ; DM, 2 bora lambs', 7d, and 1 bale mixed fleeces, 6fd; ROW, 1 bale lambs', BJd; BY, 1 bale crossbred, 7id; SP, 2 bales lambs', 74dj double horse-shoe, 40 bales orossbred, dingy, &{d; 45 bales do, &|d : 14 bales lambs', 6jd; TAIPO, 1 bale broken fleeces, 6d; MAUNGAEAKE, 1 bale pieces, 4id ; sundry bales locks and pieces, from lid to 3d per lb. Sheepskins— A small parcel of short-wool skins made 4d ; lambs', 9d each. Taiaow— A few parcels of mixed were sold at from £2S to £27 per ton. Hidbs— About 100 were disposed of; salted parcels in good condition brought 4d per lb : station hides, 3d per lb; bull bides, 2Jd per Ib.
