Great opposition has of late boan shown in the Legisiativj Assembly to tho policy of the Government, and tne.nbors of the Opposition have now adopted a coarso of deliberate abstraction and stonewalling, with a view to prevent tho passage of the Bills which the Government is endeavouring to press forward before the prorogation at Christmas. It ia expected that, in consequence of the tactics of tho Opposition, the Harbour Trust Bill will bo abandoned.
