THE WOOL MARKET.

-? Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. have courteously forwarded to us a copy of the following wool market report, dated London, Bth September, received by the San Francisco mail from their London agents, Messrs. Sanderson, Murray and Co. : — " Since our laßt report, of the 2Cth Angußt, there has not been much change in our market. On the whole the weakness of inferior and faulty parcels, both gitasy and scoured, has become more marked, and are distinctly cheaper than they were last series, scoured lambswool especially showing a greater fall than anything else. Croiabreds have not altered much : the coarsor descriptions are in buyers' favour, but for the fine sorts there is good competition and rates are firm. The best merino wool, greasy as Wdll as washed, Bell well, and any fine Port Phillip fleeces that come on the market are well competed for, at prices decidedly higher than during laßt Beriea. Up to date 143,641 bales have been catalogued, of which about 14,000 bales have been bought in."
