MEETING OF CREDITORS.
? A first meeting of the creditors of Taylor and Co., general dealers, was held at the Supreme Court this afternoon. The liabilities are stated at .£1991 9 d 7d. The following are the principal creditors : — W. Freeman (secured), .£400 ; Nathan and Co , £517 ; William MLean and Co , £3J6 ; Zohrab, Newman, and Co., £77; Krulland Co., £71; Bannatyne and Co , £70; J. and T. Meek, £95; G. Thomas, £62. The assets are set down as follows : — Estimated value of stock, horse, cart, machines, and household furniture, £609 15b ; book debts, £310 ; freehold property, £300; goods at auction, £19; furniture of two dwellinghoußea, £GO. Total, £1328 15a. Mr. Zohrab was voted to the ohair. Air. Taylor said he was willing to pay 7s Gd in the £ and a bill »t six months for 23 64. Mr. Nathan moved that Mr. Zohrab be appointed trustee at a fee of 10 guineas, and that the debtor's proposal be accepted.
