THE SUDDEN DEATH AT CARTERTON. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) CARTERTON, 20th May.
The post-mortem examination of Heartland, who died suddonly in his own house on Saturday night, proved that doita was caused from heart disease, and a verdict was given accordingly, although a strong attempt was made by soma of the jury to add that death was thj mult of excessive drinking, A rider was added to the verdict to the effect that publicans should be restrained from rfupplyine intoxicants to any one under the Influence of liquor. ______^__^____
