ATROCIOUS MUTINY OF A CHINESE CREW.
.MURDER OF THE OFFICERS. ARREST OF THE MUTINEERS. (PROH OOR OWN CORKBBPONDEHT.) Cooktow"N, 19th March.
A most sanguinary mutiny has occurred on board the barque Kate Waters, bolonging to the port of Sydney. The vessel had a Chinese crew on board, who, in consequence of the promotion of a man to whom they bad a dislike, rose against their officers, and speedily overpowered them. The captain, the chief officer, second officer, carpenter, and a cabin boy, were slaughtered, as under circumstances of revolting atrocity, and their bodies were thrown overboard. The mutineers then wrecked the vessel on Labuan Island. Subsequently a quarrel took place among tbe gang over th© division of tho epoil, which led to ope of the men turning informer. The authorities took prompt measures to secure the apprehension of tbe desperadoes, who have all been arrested, and sent to Hongkong for trial-
