He now awaits the arrival of Generals Stuart and Biddulph's forces to surrender the city. Candahar was formally entered on the 9th. The leading officials and the troops in Candahar fled to Herat. 13th January. General Donald Stuart and bis forces marched through Candahar unopposed.
