EXTRAORDINARYGENERAL MEETING AN Extraordinary General Meeting cf the Shareholders of the above Company will be held at the Exchange Land Mart, corner of Grey and Featherston streets, on Monday evening, the 20 th instant, at half-past seven o'clock, for the purpose of considering the following spoeial resolutions : — Ist That the following Clause bs added to the Regulations of the Company, under the leading " Shakes," and numbered "U":— "There shall be two classes of shares, called 'Special Shares' and 1 Ordinary Shares ' The special shares shall be paid up in full on application, and the ordinary shares shall be paid up by call*, from time to time, as provided by Regulation No 2. The Directors shall have power, from time to time, to issue either of these classes of shares to the public, and the nominal capital of the Company (£50,000) shall, for the purposes of this regulation, be deemed to consist of 2000 special shares and 3000 ordinary shares. 2nd. That Clauses Nos. 23 and 24 of the Regulations of the Company, under the heading "Disposal of Surplus Shares" be struck out, and the following clauses, at numbered, be added to the Regulations of the Company in lieu thereof: — Sp'Gial Sharks. 23. All special shares shall be entitled, until tbe declaration of a dividend by the Company, to Interest upon the amount paid in to the Company upon them from the date of such payment, at the rate of nine pounds por centum per annum. 24. The Directors shall have the power at any time to cancel the whole or any portion of the said special shares by paying the holder thereof the amount paid by him to the Company, together with interest thereon as provided by Regulation No. 23.
