THE REVOLT IN NEW CALEDONIA. FURTHER ATROCITIES. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Sydney, sth September.
Further intelligence has been received from New Caledonia to the effect that the natives on the 22nd ult. murdered twelve Communists and five white settlers at Teremba, Morotem , and Hondille, while eighteen settlers are missing, and are believed to have been slaughtered. The Government is doing all in its power to repress the publication of any reports.
