ADELAIDE. 28th November.
A frightful murder has been committed at Port Augusta. A man named Fagan split the head of a man named Bonner while his victim was fast asleep. — In the Assembly, the Hon. Mr. Boucaut submitted his revised summary of revenue and expenditure for the year ended 30th June, 1877, showing a debit ba'ance of £16,365.— There has been a sale of 20,000 bushels of new wheat made, for delivery at Port Adelaide during the month of December, at from 5s to 5s Id per bushel — The Australian cricketers, after playing at Mnitland and the Hunter River, will finisli their Austra'ian engagement at Adelaide ; thence take steamer to New Ze?land, and return to Sydney in February in time for the colonial match.
