Richardson, owner of the yacht Gannet, sued the Regatta Committee to-day for £30 (the money prize) and the cup, the committee having refused to pay on the ground that they bad decided that the race should be sailed again. After hearing arguments at length, Mr. Broad, R.M., gave judgment for the plaintiff for £30 and costs, and ordered the cup to be handed to him.
