A good number of natives, with produce, have come down from the up-country settlements during the last few days. A flour-mill has been erected at Kopua by Brissondon, but vetoed by Tawhiao, who objected to giving him any lease of the land. Repairs to the bridge are completed, and It is now open for traffic. ¦ .
