TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVENING POST. Sir,— There seems to bo a great difference ot opinion between people who term themselves Kaiwarra residents in* reference to the Kaiwarra stream. We have people who have been living adjacent to the Btteam for from 10 to 15 years, and who are,' I am'fclftd to say, blessed with the best of Health, although the Kaiwarra stream flows past- then l back doors. If our board were to make prraaifements for the drainage .from each house being prevented from going ihto the stream, and also have the slaughterhouse removed, 1 think the trouble would, then be at end. We have managed to have good Water for nearly 14 years, and the same water is, still available. Trusting that " Real Resident " will feel small after these remarks.
