MAILS CLOSE For Wanganui, per ps Manawatu, onThurs day, at 4 p.m. For Foxton, per ss Napier, on Thursday, at 4 p.m. For Picton, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Manukau, per ss Taupo, on Friday, at 1 p.m. For Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and^Blun, per ss Hawea, on Friday, at 2 p.m. For Napier and Poverty Bay, per ss Rangatira, on Monday, at 4 p.m. For Sandwich Islands, America, the West Indies, Europe, &c, via San Francisco, per ss Colima, on Friday, 7th April, at 10.30 a.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters on previous day up to 5 p.m. On and after Ist April the Post Office at Oroua will be re-opened.
