AUTUMN SHIPMENTS. GREAT BARGAINS IN DRESSES, JACKETS, AND MILLINERY, BOUGHT AT A DISCOUNT OF FROM 30 TO 50 PER CENT. J. M'DOWELL & CO. HAVE received their Autumn Shipments, ex CELiENO, and Bhip CLYDE, via Melbourne, in addition to which they have purchased a large portion of an Importer's Stock of DRESSES, BLACK SILKS, DOLLY VARDEN HATS, PRINTS, PEQUES, and LADIES' SILK JACKETS, at a very large discount off English invoice, so that they are enabled to offer greater bargains in the above class of Goods than anything hitherto placed before tha public of Wellington. The discounts being from 30 to 50 per cent, enables them to offer these Goods at a LITTLE OVER HALF-PRICE. J.
