Lakeside
SATURDAY'S SOCIAL
There was a good attendance at the Lakeside Hall on Saturday evening when a social in aid of the Lakeside-Sedgemere soldiers' parcels fund was held, and an enjoyable time was spent. Dance music was played by Mrs D. Gardiner and Mr G. Amyes was M.C. Monte Carlos were won by Miss Margaret Patterson and Mr A- Cameron, Miss Joan Amyes and. Mr R. Marshall, while the most successful card players were Mesdames W. Husband and A. E. Brown, Messrs R. Nairn and A. H. Duff. A competition/was won by Mr F* Amyes. The prizes were donated by the young- people of Lakeside.
