CIRCUIT THEATRES.
AT DUNSANDEL ON MONDAY
NEXT.
"DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY."
The announcement is made in this issue that Circuit Theatres will screen a talkie picture programme at the Dunsandel Hall on the evening of June 3, the King's Birthday.
The subject chosen is "Death Takes a Holiday." This picture has a most audacious theme which will only be thoroughly enjoyed when seen from start to finish. Frederic March -has the featured role in this most fascinating picture of a mysterious lover who wooed with more than mortal emotion for the first time— while the world stood still and waited for it to be over. Playing opposite to March is Evelyn Venable, while the supporting parts are strongly filled, the cast being excellent. The picture is described as one of the finest dramatic productions Paramount has ever made. Daring in theme, brilliantly acted, lavishly mounted, with ingenious photographic effects, this, picture stands in a class well above the ordinary run of talkie subjects.
There will be a strong supporting programme of topical and interesting shorts.
