Mr and Mrs E. F. Davison left Sedgemere yesterday for their new home at Allandale, Fairlie.
Mrs J. Lister and Miss Gladys Lister, Lyttelton, and Mrs M. Lightfoot, Mt. Landford, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Martin, Leeston.
Mr A. J. InwoQd, who has been confined to his v home for the last fortnight, has greatly improved in health and is now able to get about again.
Lady Sidey and Mrs H. T. J. Thacker visited Leeston on Tuesday afternoon, accompanying Dr. Thacker who gave an address at the meeting of the Women's Institute.
Mr E. L. Neale," who for several years has been clerk and overseer for the Springs County Council, has resigned from that position and will leave the council's employment at the end of August.
Mrs E. C. Barnett, of Palmerston North/and her younger daughter, who have been spending a fortnight's holiday with Mr and Mrs L. R. Barnett, Southbridge, leave for the North Island by to-night's steamer.
