GRAND CONCERT

SOUTHBRIDGE WEDNESDAY EVENING.

LEESTON CONVENT PtjPILS.

A,treat is in store for patrons who attend the concert to be given at; the Sduthbridge Town Hall to-morrow (Wednesday) evening by the pupils of the Leeston Convent. The programme will be the same as for the Leeston concert, when the youthful and talented performers received a rousing reception. Every item on the long programme is excellently done and thoroughly enjoyable. The children have profited much from the training received from the Sisters of the Mission, and something far above the ordinary run of school concerts is in store for residents of .the district to-morrow evening. Almost every item is appropriately dressed, while features of the concert will be the marches and songs in character. Such items as the "Japanese Proposal," "Toy-maker's Dream," "Ser-geant-Major on Parade," just to mention two or three, are features which should give the utmost pleasure^ to the audience, while the quality of the singing is very good indeed. ,
