The undermentioned particulars of tests carried out by the Canterbury Herd Testing Association for February have been supplied to the Guardian by the Association:— Plains Group: Number of cows 918, lbs. of milk 677, test 4.1, lbs. fat 27.92. Highest herd avarage: Number of cows 29, lbs. of fat 38.27; lowest herd average 18.83, highest cow 711bs. fat. Peninsula: Number of cows 437, lbs. of milk 512, test 4.3, lbs. of fat 21.93. Highest herd average:. Number of cows 15, lbs. of fat 34.80; lowest herd average 15.22 lbs. fat; highest cow 461bs. fat. Rangiora: Number of cows 328, lbs. milk 654, test 4.1, lbs. fat 26.86. Highest herd average: Number of cows, 20 lbs. fat 34; lowest herd average 17.06; highest cow 551bs. fat. Ashburton: Number of cows; 383, lbs. milk 677, test 4.0, lbs. fat 27.15, Highest herd average: Number of cows 16, lbs. fat 44.06; lowest herd average 17.60; highest cow 711bs. fat. Association: Number of cows 2066, | lbs. milk 638, test 4.1, lbs. fat 26-34. Highest herd average: Number of cows 16, lbs. fat 44.06; lowest herd average 15.221b5. fat; highest cow 71 lbs. fat.
